What is body recomposition?
Body recomposition refers to the process of reducing fat mass while preserving or increasing lean muscle — not just focusing on weight loss. It’s a more precise, functional approach to improving how your body performs and feels.
Do you offer GLP-1 medications like semaglutide or tirzepatide?
Yes, when medically appropriate. We prescribe GLP-1-based medications as part of a physician-directed program that also includes nutrition, lifestyle, and muscle-preserving strategies.
Can I work on muscle gain without focusing on weight loss?
Absolutely. Many of our patients are focused on strength, recovery, and muscle preservation — whether for longevity, performance, or post-illness rebuilding.
Do you use peptides to support muscle and metabolic health?
We may include clinically appropriate peptide therapies when indicated, always as part of a broader strategy.
Will I be given a nutrition plan?
Yes. Nutrition is a core part of every plan — with guidance around protein intake, nutrient timing, and metabolic goals. Plans are tailored, not templated.
Do you assess hormones before recommending treatment?
Yes. We evaluate thyroid, adrenal, sex hormones, and insulin sensitivity to understand what’s impacting your metabolism, energy, and body composition.
Can I still follow your program if I have a thyroid condition or PCOS?
Yes. Many of our patients come in with underlying hormone or metabolic conditions. Our care is structured around supporting those systems — not working against them.
Will I need to exercise to see results?
Movement is encouraged, but your plan will match your current ability and recovery capacity. Our goal is sustainable improvement, not unrealistic fitness expectations.
How long before I notice changes in body composition?
That depends on your baseline and goals. Some patients begin noticing strength, energy, and performance changes within 4–6 weeks. More significant recomposition typically unfolds over 3–6 months.
Is this covered by insurance?
We don’t bill insurance directly. Some lab testing or prescriptions may be eligible for HSA/FSA reimbursement. Our care is delivered through a structured, physician-led membership model.
