What is cardiometabolic health?
Cardiometabolic health refers to the interconnected function of your cardiovascular system, metabolism, blood sugar regulation, lipids, and inflammation. We evaluate how these systems interact — not just single lab values.
Do you treat high cholesterol or high blood pressure?
We don’t treat numbers in isolation. We assess what’s driving lipid imbalance or vascular stress, and build a structured care plan around long-term risk reduction and system balance.
What testing do you use for metabolic health?
We use advanced labs when indicated — including insulin resistance markers, lipid particle analysis (ApoB, LDL-P), inflammatory markers (hs-CRP, oxLDL), and metabolic enzymes — depending on your presentation.
Can I work with you if I’m already on a statin or blood pressure medication?
Yes. Many of our patients are already on medication. Our goal is to complement your current care with root-focused strategies — not to replace conventional treatment.
I’ve been told my labs are “normal” — but I don’t feel well. Can you help?
Yes. “Normal” doesn’t always mean optimal. We interpret labs in the context of your full history, symptoms, and trajectory — not just population averages.
What role does insulin resistance play in cardiovascular risk?
A significant one. Insulin resistance often precedes visible metabolic breakdown and can drive inflammation, blood pressure changes, lipid abnormalities, and weight gain — even before glucose rises.
Will I have to follow a strict diet?
We use nutrition therapeutically — but we don’t prescribe rigid, unsustainable food plans. Dietary guidance is personalized based on your labs, goals, and metabolic response.
Do you work with people who don’t have a diagnosis yet?
Yes. Many patients come to us because they want to intervene before they meet diagnostic thresholds. Prevention and early pattern recognition are central to our model.
How long does it take to see changes?
It depends on your starting point and goals. Many patients begin to see shifts in energy, weight, blood sugar, or lab markers within 6–12 weeks. Long-term resilience takes structured support.
Is this covered by insurance?
We don’t bill insurance directly. Some lab tests or prescriptions may qualify for HSA/FSA reimbursement. Our care is delivered through a physician-led membership model.
