What is bioidentical hormone therapy (BHRT)?
Bioidentical hormones are structurally identical to the hormones your body produces naturally. We use them in personalized, physician-guided protocols — based on labs, symptoms, and long-term goals.
Are hormones safe?
When prescribed and monitored appropriately, hormone therapy is safe and well-supported by decades of research — including recent FDA-backed expert analysis. The key is individualized care, not one-size-fits-all dosing.
What’s the difference between synthetic and bioidentical hormones?
Synthetic hormones are often chemically modified and can behave differently in the body. Bioidentical hormones match human structure exactly — and when used properly, offer a safer, more physiologic option.
Do you use pellet therapy?
Yes — but only when clinically appropriate. Pellet therapy is one option we offer among many. We carefully assess candidacy, dose conservatively, and monitor closely — unlike practices that rely on pellets as a default.
How do I know if my hormones are out of balance?
Symptoms like fatigue, brain fog, low libido, mood swings, poor sleep, or weight gain may suggest a hormonal issue. We use advanced testing and clinical evaluation to find out what’s actually going on.
Do you treat men and women?
Yes. We work with both men and women to address hormone imbalances at every stage of life — including perimenopause, menopause, andropause, and post-birth control transitions.
Do you treat thyroid and adrenal issues too?
Absolutely. Thyroid function and adrenal rhythm are core parts of our hormone evaluation. We assess conversion issues, T3/T4 balance, reverse T3, cortisol curves, and more.
How long does it take to feel better?
Every case is different. Some patients notice changes within weeks, while others may take several months depending on complexity, dosing, and system-wide support.
Do you use hormone therapy for prevention or just symptom relief?
Hormones affect more than symptoms — they influence bone density, cardiovascular function, metabolism, cognition, and more. When prescribed responsibly, they can support long-term health beyond symptom control.
Can I use insurance for hormone therapy?
We do not bill insurance directly. Some lab tests or prescriptions may be eligible for HSA/FSA coverage, but most of our care is structured as part of a private, membership-based program.
